FabLabNet

FabLab is part of another approved EU project, this time funded under the InterReg CE program. The FabLabNet project is a networking project of similar institutions and is co-ordinated by MUSE, Museo della Scinece in Trento. The project was approved on April 18 and is one of 35 projects approved in the second round of 95 projects that received funding, all of which started with over 650 projects that were submitted in the first round.

Official start of the project was July 1st, 2016.

Since October 2017 Pilot 3 activity is ongoing under title Bridge to Education related to education in which was included Elementary School Borovje.

Since beginning of 2018 till February 8th, 2018. open call was open to apply project on Pilot 2 named Connecting to Business.

From October 2018 to January 2019, digital production workshops called the European School of Makers are conducted as part of the Long Lasting Societal Effects work package. With the intention of promoting digital production, FabLab conducts these workshops in collaboration with its members, and will endeavor to carry them out after the completion of these planned project activities.
