Registration for FabAcademy 2026 – Deadline: December 15, 2025

FabAcademy, the renowned digital fabrication program founded by Neil Gershenfeld of MIT, is launching in January 2026. This hands-on, fast-paced course offers an immersive learning experience in rapid prototyping. Students will work on new projects each week, building a personal portfolio of technical accomplishments. The course runs from January to June 2026, with a weekly commitment of approximately 20 hours.

The program is ideal for entrepreneurs, researchers, artists, farmers, and anyone interested in transforming their ideas into concrete projects. FabAcademy students learn to create prototypes using cutting-edge tools, including 3D printing, electronics, and large-scale machining. Students will work under the supervision of both local and international experts and collaborate with a global community.

Fablabs offers a unique environment for FabAcademy students. Located in the city center Fablab is equipped with advanced tools for prototyping, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and various, CNC machines, embroidery machines, vacuum forming, screen printing etc. However topics can range from urban and heritage related to rural and remote areas in Adriatic GreenLab.

The course fee is 5,000€, covering both the FabAcademy program central cost and local cost to access Fablab state-of-the-art equipment. No diploma is required to enroll, but a basic understanding of computer usage is necessary. Lessons are in English, and all projects must be documented in English.
