FabLab ovu jesen organizira četvrti po redu Maker Faire Zagreb koji će se održati 01. i 02. listopada u Tehničkom muzeju Nikola Tesla!

Za one koji ne znaju, Maker Faire je dijelom znanstveni sajam, dijelom sajam lokalne zajednice, a dijelom nešto sasvim novo, to je mjesto okupljanje svih profila tehnoloških entuzijasta, zanatlija, edukatora, majstora, hobista i amatera, inženjera i umjetnika – kraće rečeno, Maker Faire je konvencija maker-a 

Nakon dugogodišnjeg postojanje ideje i pokreta, samo događanje Maker Faire započeo je Make magazine 2006. godine u Bay Area, odnosno Silikonskoj dolini.

Maker Faire je prvenstveno osmišljen da bude usmjeren prema budućnosti, predstavljajući proizvođače koji istražuju nove oblike i nove tehnologije. Maker Faire predstavlja inovaciju i eksperimentiranje u cijelom spektru znanosti, inženjerstva, umjetnosti, izvedbe i zanata 

Maker Faire je okupljanje fascinantnih, znatiželjnih ljudi koji uživaju u učenju i koji vole dijeliti ono što mogu. To je mjesto na kojem kreatori pokazuju primjere svojih radova i komuniciraju s drugima o tome. Posebice je fokus na DIY aktivnostima koje su uobičajeno izvan središta pozornosti tradicionalnih umjetničkih, znanstvenih ili obrtničkih događaja. Maker Faire čini vidljivima ove projekte i ideje s kojima se ne susrećemo svaki dan.

FabLab is organizing fourth Maker Faire Zagreb this fall, which will be held on 1st and 2nd of October at the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum!

For those who don’t know, Maker Faire is somewhat of a science fair, a local community fair, and part something completely new, it’s a gathering place for all profiles of technology enthusiasts, artisans, educators, craftsmen, hobbyists and amateurs, engineers and artists – in short, Maker Faire is a convention of makers 

The idea behind Maker Faire has been around for many years but the event itself was started by Make magazine in 2006 in the Bay Area, i.e. Silicon Valley.

Maker Faire is primarily designed to be future-oriented, showcasing makers exploring new forms and new technologies. Maker Faire represents innovation and experimentation across the spectrum of science, engineering, art, performance, and craft.

Maker Faire is a gathering of curious people who enjoy learning and who love to share what they can do. It’s a place where creators show examples of their work and communicate with others about it. In particular, there is a focus on DIY activities that are usually outside the focus of traditional art, science or even craft events. Maker Faire makes these projects and ideas that we don’t come across every day visible.
